<p className="ng-lede a-rise" style={{ "--d": "380ms" }}>
Ninjacart, India's largest domestic agri platform, launched Ninja Global to move into
international agri trade, and I was brought in to build it 0→1 with full P&L ownership.
The real mandate wasn't a feature — it was finding product-market fit in a market we didn't
yet serve. My first hypothesis was a marketplace play: match importers and exporters across borders,
verify trade partners, and earn a commission on matchmaking. It onboarded well, but
traders wouldn't pay for discovery — matchmaking wasn't the real pain. Talking to traders in
India, Malaysia and Vietnam, the urgent need was clear: capital. Exporters pay suppliers up
front but wait 30–90 days for the importer's balance, and banks won't finance perishable,
MSME-scale trade. That capital-timing gap became the product.

MSMEs = 46% of India's exports · MSME credit gap ₹28–30 lakh cr. The constraint was
